Inspiration
Aesop Residence draws inspiration from the Mediterranean climate and landscape — from the softness of curved forms shaped by light, to the rhythm of shaded terraces and planted outdoor spaces. The design embraces a slower, more considered way of living, where architecture responds naturally to sun, air, and greenery. The result is a building that feels grounded, calm, and effortlessly integrated into its urban setting.
Architecture
The building is conceived as a layered, fluid composition, with softly curved concrete floor plates wrapping the façade and forming deep, continuous balconies. These generous overhangs provide natural solar protection while enhancing privacy and outdoor living. Horizontal concrete bands are contrasted with warm vertical timber cladding, creating a balanced dialogue between solidity and warmth. Large glazed openings maximise daylight penetration and establish a seamless visual connection between interior and exterior spaces. Planted terraces and roof gardens introduce greenery across every level, softening the architecture and reinforcing its relationship with the surrounding landscape. The recessed ground floor allows the upper volumes to appear light and floating, while discreetly accommodating parking beneath.
Living
Life at Aesop Residence extends naturally beyond the interior. Deep balconies function as true outdoor rooms, ideal for relaxation, dining, and social moments throughout the year. The apartments are designed to prioritise light, openness, and flow, with expansive glazing and carefully proportioned spaces that adapt easily to modern lifestyles. Privacy is enhanced through the building’s geometry, planting, and orientation, creating a sense of retreat within an urban context.
